Our Founder
Jamies Gymnastics Academy was founded 20 years ago by our CEO James, who wanted to inspire the next generation of gymnasts.
Our CEO’s gymnastics journey took him through the British Olympic Association’s Beijing Olympic cycle, competing at the highest level as part of Great Britain’s squads for the European Championships, World Championships and Commonwealth Games. Along the way, he became a 10-time London Champion, a 2-time National Champion, a 2-time British Champion and an English Champion!
That same competitive spirit found a very different stage in 2016 and 2017, with two appearances on Britain’s Got Talent that went on to become one of the most-watched acts in the show’s history.
It’s that depth of first-hand experience- as a competitor, as a performer, and now as a coach and business leader- that shapes how Jamie’s is run today: discipline, ambition and a love of gymnastics.
Our Chief Operating Officer
Alongside our CEO, our Chief Operating Officer brings her own gymnastics expertise to the team, having won a European Silver medal during her own career.
Our Coaching Team
Our current team of managers and coaches includes former international gymnasts, national and regional champions, and specialists who have independently run large-scale gymnastics programmes of their own- giving every class, at every one of our 13 academies, access to the very best teaching in the industry.
