Gymnastics Classes Near Selsdon
Jamie’s Gymnastics is proud to be bringing gymnastics to Selsdon through our exciting school club programme! With more than 45 school clubs running across London every week, we’ve developed a proven programme that introduces pupils to the sport in a fun and engaging way.
We believe every child should have the opportunity to try gymnastics alongside a range of other sports. By working closely with local schools and communities, we’re able to introduce children to the sport in a familiar, low-pressure setting where they can make friends and enjoy being active outside of lessons.
What We Learn
Our Selsdon school club is designed to give children a positive introduction to gymnastics. Sessions focus on learning new skills through engaging activities and age-appropriate challenges, without the pressure of competitions or long-term commitment. It’s the perfect way for children to find out whether gymnastics is something they’d like to do outside of school.
Throughout each class, children will develop a wide range of physical and personal skills, including:
- Balance and coordination
- Strength and flexibility
- Agility and body awareness
- Confidence and resilience
- Listening and concentration
- Teamwork and social skills
As children progress, they’ll learn fundamental gymnastics movements such as rolls, balances, jumps and basic vaulting, all taught safely by our experienced coaches. These foundations not only support future gymnastics development but also benefit other sports and everyday physical activity.
To celebrate achievements, children can work towards our own PROgressive Medal Scheme alongside the nationally recognised British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards, giving them regular milestones to work towards.

Those who develop a passion for the sport can choose to continue their journey by joining one of Jamie’s Gymnastics’ recreational classes outside of school, where they can continue learning new skills and progress at a pace that suits them.
