Mini and Masters Programme
Even as a recreational Academy, it’s still important to develop talent shown in our gymnasts. The Mini and Masters programme is our recreational floor and vault squad, for gymnasts from 5 years upwards, who train from 2-4 hours per week and represent Jamies at local competitions against a multitude of clubs. The gymnasts have the opportunity to compete anywhere from 5-7 times per year and showcase both their skills and the ability to perform within a competitive environment. We currently have over 100 gymnasts in the team, and their results in competitions is quite remarkable! Click below the upcoming competitions this year:

Jamies Championships
Our Jamies Championships is our annual competition which, we offer to every programme within the Academy as well as to local clubs also. Our event is open to gymnasts from 3 years old who simply perform to their friends and families, all the way up to our boys freestyle category and floor and vault competitive squads.
Jamies Gymnastics Academy is delighted to be hosting our Annual Academy Championships on Sunday 12th July 2026.
The competition will take place at the Essex Sports Arena, University of Essex, which accommodates up to 1,650 spectators. The venue offers excellent facilities including an on-site Starbucks, multiple food outlets with a live BBQ, and a café. There will also be merchandise available from Gym Cheer Apparel, along with exciting elite gymnastics displays from Tigers Gymnastics Club throughout the day.
At last year’s championships, we welcomed gymnasts from 20 external clubs, with over 1,000 gymnasts competing across the event.

Jamies Championships
In 2022, we had our biggest competition to date. We housed the over 950 gymnasts from 17 clubs in one day at Surrey Sports Park Arena. Unfortunately, after the event we realised we had sadly outgrown the venue, and took a years sabbatical to reassess our options in order to expand the championships even further. We will now be back in 2024, hosting the largest recreational gymnastics competition from The Colchester Arena Essex!
